Kalyani was born 23 November 1990 is a South Indian actress. Kalyani also known as Purnitha, she is started her carrier from her childhood. “Chennai pattanam Yellaam Kattanum” song with Prabhudeva has shown her to tamil audience. At that time she was 8 but Now she is 18, a matured Glamour actress in both Tamil and Telugu cinema industry.

Though she entered into Kollywood as a child artist in ‘Allithandha Vaanam’ is making her debut as a heroine through the movie ‘Prathi Gnayiru’. Later she did ‘Maranthen Meimaranthen’ in Tamil.

She changed her name as “Poornitha”, then turned heroine with the film Prathi Gnayiru 9.30 to 10.00 and went on to act in Malayalam and Telugu films as well. She was also the anchor of Vijay TV Super Mom. After entering Vijay Tv, she has changed her name to her original name “Kalyani”. She is currently acting in a television series called Pirivom Santhipom on Vijay TV and also hosting Super Singer Junior.
